2 network cards

OK i have server 2000 , We have a RF wireless setup thats on a differnt IP, communcation is fine but internal software is really slow, if i disable the network card for the RF the network application runs great. I thinnk i am missing somthing any help would be great

interal IP 192.168.1     RF wirless 172.16.23.1 all 255.255.255.0 Server 2000 internal have 15 workstations cars have 5 laptops. have 2 nic cards in server one with a IP of 192.168.1.3 and the other with 172.16.23.17 for some reason with the 172.16.23.17 nic enabled it slows our application down

ok, if this is strickly outbound and you don't need rras then why don't you put the wire less on a workstation, so that the server doesn't have to search both ips for dns verification.

Hi srawtvl,

I am not sure if this will work in your environment from the description you have given, but if the wireless clients are on the 172.16.23.* range, you probably want to try taking the gateway and DNS settings off the Wireless connection.
