FTP Problem

Hi all

I have created an FTP site without anonymous access, and I am able to access it as administrator. now I am trying to give another user access to the same site, but it's not taking any other name but the administrator.

can some body help me please???

You need to provide more details. What did you use to create FTP site? Is it on windows or Linux etc...

I used Windws IIS 5.0

Did you check permission on the directory? you need to add "Everyone" with read access to that directory.

ok the answer is that I need to give the user local logon to the server, in the other words I need to make a local account for whoever needs to access the FTP with a user name and password.
