Can Outlook Send Faxes?

If I want to fax a contact in Outlook, can I do that without importing my contacts into my Windows Address Book, or using third party software? Does Outlook have that capability? If so, what is the best way to do it?

Microsoft fax is included for free on the OS CD but not installed by default.

But it is very limited in ease of use, functionality, etc.

A much better alteranative would to purchase a fax program, install it, and then fax from Outlook.

Thanks guys. We're running Outlook 2003. It looks like I'll just import the contacts into the Windows Address Book. Everyone here in our office has the capability to fax directly from their PC. In order to do this they have to print to a printer called "Canon Fax". It is a (very cool) $17,000 printer/copier/fax machine/scanner/coffeemaker... (OK, so it doesn't make coffee). Anyway, when people print to its fax driver, it sends the fax on their behalf. In this manner we don't need telephone lines running to every computer. Very nice!

If anyone has any more comments feel free to post them. Otherwise it looks like my question has been answered.
