Installing without cd boot...
I've repeatedly tried to have my box boot from the CD so I can install mandrake linux 9.2, however i've been having some problems...
1) The box was a hand-me down, and the installation of linux was previously attempted on it but not completed, so whenever I start up the computer a blue screen appears (from the harddrive) where it gives me 2 options "Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (2.4.21-4.ELsmp)" and "Red Hate Enterprise Linux ES-up (2.4.21-4.EL)" From t his screen I can access GRUB but I don't really know what to do from here :/
2) The BIOS wont boot from the CDROM like i want it to, I don't know if its b/c it lacks a driver or what...
3) I was thinking I needed a boot disk, but i was having trouble what to do from there, and where to get one.
As you can probably already tell, I'm VERY new to linux. But I plan on learning it. PLEASE HELP ME INSTALL!
