Today my Brother HL-1450 laser printer started pausing print jobs, so that I have to click on each job in the print queue on the server and manual resume them. Any ideas why it mght have started doing this?

The printer is one of printers shared as network printers on a domain through a TCP/IP with the help of a jetdirect printer server.

 - Have you installed anything recently such as XP Service pack 2 this can screw up network connections and all sorts of software.  or any other software recently?  If no to both try the other options below

 - Check the network connections and setup

 - Then if that fails try re-installing the drivers

I haven't installed anything recently, but last week I installed Print Manager Plus.

Anyway, I treid all sorts of things to stop it pausing, and noticed other problems with printer too, like I couldn't changed security settings for it even though I had the right too.

In the end I had delete the printer and reinstall it on it's port. So, I guess that was an easy 250 points...thanx
