Search for files containing text string

Hi,

I have never been able to search for text files containing certain strings with the extension .cnm.

If I change the extension to .txt or .log then the file is picked out no problem.

In Folder Options/ File Types I have set .cnm to be Text Document and to open in Notepad.

What else do I need to do?
