The exact error message i get is this:
Error 5170: Cannot create file <.ldf path>because it already exsists. CREATE DATABASE failed. some file names listed could not be created. Check previous errors.

Restore DB dialog > Options Tab

Check the "Force restore over the exiting database"

no need to create, you can directly restore

Database (rt-click) > All Tasks > Restore Database > Give Name in "Restore as database" and Select the backup file.
