I have a site that uses php and mysql, we would like to incorporate some type of thesaurus or a way to have the script run and change words to other words with similar meaning. Is there such a script already compiled or maybe a downloadable thesaurus DB or huge txt file or something?

nobody huh? Hmm, there has got to be something we can do to make the content different from sites that use the same product catalogs.

I agree - but I don't think changing text would do it.
I'm not aware of any script or localized thesaurus that would handle this... sorry.

Only 595 kb for the full thing - who knew.
I never even knew you could get it that way - hopefully you'll be able to make use of it.

And I've often wondered how common catalog products tackle the google issue - with so much automation going on (xml/db/etc.) it must be getting very difficult for some of the larger sites to maintain uniqueness.

You may even have a marketable product :-)

Yeah, i was amazed at the size too, and yes I hope we have a marketable product after I get done coding the script to run.
