Mitsubishi HL7965KW-SG to VGA
Hello,
I seem to have inherited 3 Mitsubishi HL7965KW-SG monitors. I've never touched anything of SGI's before and I bought a 13W3 Adapter to convert to VGA. I am noticing that they all flicker. I have read that I might need a Fixed Frequency card or another card that does something with Sync on Green. I need some good ideas and money is an object here. Unfortunately I understand it to only a limited extent and I am looking for resolution. Explanation is good, but resolution is what I am looking for. Thanks to all in advance!!!

Well, I was at the website listings before, however I am noticing that I may need a video sync converter. I have the 13w3 connector, but I am seeing that a $50-$80 part for the vs conversion. Any thoughts on any other required components? I don't want to purchase a dedicated fixed frequency card.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for the accepted answer, bur sorry that wasn't complete enough.
The problem in this case of situation, I am far for being an expert in video so excuse for any mistake, is to find another solution than hardware solution.
If you want, I can give to you a electronical scheme for video sync conversion, but that won't really help, cause you will have to build it.
And I guess that buying directly the correct cable will be easier and cheaper than trying to build it by yourself.
But thanks anyway.
