Cannot send email from Word
Hello, When I try to send a word document as email I receive the following message. "Word could not load the e-mail envelope. This could be caused by a network connection problem or a problem with your office installation"
This only occurs when the document is sent as the body of the email, When sending as an attachment it works as it should do. The O/S is XP, Office 2K with oulook 2002.
Hope someone can advise a fix for this.

Run Detect and Repair from the Help menu in Word.
LOL. Nevermind. BlueDevilFan has probably answered it quite nicely, thanks very much. LOL
have still not found a solution for word 2002 (XP) emailing with Outlook 2003
I have tried both fixes listed above and it did not revolve my issue. However I am using Office 2000 with Outlook 2003. Any further suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same Office 2000 and Outlook 2003 and have tried the fix from microsoft and a repair of office 2000 with no luck. Still Can not use the email icon in Word 2000.
I'm the same as the guys above, is there a fix for this yet?
I did not find any.... I had upgraded to 2003 which seem to have resolved the issue. I never found a solution prior to the upgrade.
