I have a need for two web-sites on my dedicated linux box.

One site is the live e-commerce environment, on the internet.

The other is the back-end admin section.

They both need to use the same software (jar archive)

As I understand it  for a site to use software, the software must be put into the web-inf directory under the root of the application.

Puting one copy in each web-inf directory will not be good enough.

Can anyone help me?

You do not have to use that. There are common folders that you put jar files and other resources and they are accessible by everyone. Take a look at the application server's documentation to see the exact structure of the common folder. On Tomcat for exampel it is simpyl called /common.

Ok,

Thanks for your help.

I just meant a single saturday for £150 for a few hours work, not a second job.

Thanks anyway.

I live in Newcastle,

I need someone local for this particular job.

There may be something in the future, but for now I could do with someone to do all of the setting up and configuring of my server so that it is secure.

I'll bare it in mind,

cheers.

Ahh... Newcastle, I love this place :) A few years back (when I first graduated) I was looking for a job there but I couldn't find any :(
