Relay - email form problem - with email-form.com - www.mitridat.com

I purchased email-form.com from Mitridat.com and have installed it on dozens of my client's sites.

Recently we discovered that many "autorespond" emails sent by the form are being blocked.  The email is returned with this message:
"SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<kmaloney@fimusa.com>:
host alpha.fimusa.com [12.146.129.131]: 551 This is not a relay host - mail must be to or from host domain. "

I've copied the entire message below.

This form resides on account www.fimusa.net <-note NET
which is on server.iguideinc.com.

My question is:
1.  Could this problem be caused by the "mail to server"; in this case alpha.fimusa.com?
2.  Is this "relay blocking" a common practice?
3.  Is there anything that can be done to the email-form.com script to stop this problem?
4.  If this is a script specific problem, could anyone recommend a great form script that sends HTML; writes to a log; autoresponds, etc??

I know this is a difficult question and will award lots of points.

Thanks for your help.  Let me know if you need more information.

April

Well, the eggs on my face.  For some dump reason - I just couldn't wrap my mind around what was meant by "relay".  It seems really clear now, based on the FAQ.

I also missed the paragraph concerning this issue in the FAQ.  It is sort of buried.

ALSO - I finally did hear back from MitriDat - so all's well and I can again recommend this script to others.

Thanks to everyone!
