Hi,

Standard setup of the 2003 server makes some changes to password policies. Here's how to fix it.

1. Go to admin tools and then Group Policy Management
2. Right click default domain policy and choose properties.
3. Go to Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Account Policy and then Password Policy
4. Make sure to disable all settings that are in this GPO option.

After that, do a gpupdate /force. This will force the Policy to be updated...
