Hi,

I need to generate pivot tables for various queries which may involve different tables. I want to be able to bring up the pivot table view along with the Pivot Table Field List for a resulting set using visual basic 6. The resulting set is generated by calling a stored procedure from visual basic.

Can you refere me to some websites or code.

Thanks

I don't understand what you want. Do you want to create a stored procedure that creates columns from row-data? If so, please list the structures of your tables, including primary and foreign keys, provide sample data for each table, and finally, a sample of what you want your results to look like.

OK,

I want to be able to bring up the pivot table view for a resulting table using visual basic instead of having to manually go to the "View" menu and click on Pivot Table View. The parameters to the stored procedures that generate the resultsets are passed using visual basic.

I wanted to bring up Pivot Table reports from VBA. But I got it.
You simply set the default view of a form to PivotTable, and open the form from visual basic..
