How to get clients to logon to windows 2000 server

I just got active Directory installed on windows 2000 server in the effort to have clients logon to the server for authentication etc.  can someone tell me how i can get clients running windows 2000 pro to logon to my server.  what is the steps to create users and have them logon?

Once you have added the users to Active Directory Users and Computers on the server, then use the Network Identification Wizzard to join the Win 2000 client PCs to the network. This can be found by right clicking My Computer, then selecting Network Identification, then click Network ID. Enter the Active Directory details, a username with permission to join the domain (usualy Administrator or whatever its been renamed to) and then reboot and the ctrl+alt+del screen should give you an option to logon to your new Active Directory Domain.

You need to join the 2000 Pro clients to the Active Directory domain (this can be done from the clients) and then create user accounts in the AD domain using Active Directory Users and Computers.

You may also need to point the clients to the same DNS server as the 2000 AD Domain Controller.
