Unable to open Outlook 2000 contacts in Outlook 97

Hi,

I have a user with Outlook 2000 another with Outlook 97.

The Outlook 2000 user sends contacts to the Outlook 97 user and when attempting to open these gets the error message:

"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid."

I have Outlook XP and can open the contacts OK. Is this a compatibility issue? Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about it without having to buy Office 2000 for my Outlook 97 user?
