Hi All,

I'm looking to write my own performance analyser for my web app.

The app will have it's dll's on the server and users will connect from their client machines.

As I understand it the aspnet_wp.exe process provides the server wrapper for my app.

I was wandering if I could get the following info somehow:

1) Get the number of users/connections currently using a particular app/dll  (maybe even a class within the dll)
2) Get the amount of memory used by the above
3) Get the network traffic for the above ...
4) I'm using Oracle ODP.NET ... can I get the same info for the oracle connection ?

If this is a complex issue could someone point me in the right direction where I can do some reading

Txs

you should see this:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdntv/episode.aspx?xml=episodes/en/20030729CLRGN/manifest.xml

the tool discussed has all the source included.

Ok maybe I missed something, but all I see here is a video instruction on how to use it ... I'm however on a 3kbs dialup so it will take a while for me ...

I don't however see any links to source there ..

Yes I know, but shurly you can modify it to attach to dll's?  But it is great anyhow, I really think you should base it on this. Also found anoter resource for you to investigate

http://nprof.sourceforge.net/Site/SiteHomeNews.html wich is a asp.net profiler. And it's opensource!
