FTP ing with GoLive (and in general)

Hi,

I have a PowerMac G4 867 with 1.25GB RAM.
I am using GoLive CS but cannot, through it, connect to my FTP server. I am sure all details are correct and have double double checked this. I have also, in system preferences, checked Use passive FTP Mode. I have also tried with this unchecked as well. I have also tried it with Passive Mode turned on and off in Publish Server settings within GoLive.

we run a Small Business Server 2000 and have ISA 2000 installed so could this be the problem?I have went through the steps to create the packet filters in ISA although it still seems as if windows clients still cant ftp eithe although the actual server itself can

YEah I checked it out and even switched the ISA server service off. Maybe this was the wrong area for this post?

I would come at it from the angle of "My computers (both Mac and Windows) behind a windows server cant FTP". I suspect once you fix the root of the problem, the golive ftp issues will resolve themselves.

yeah, i tried ftp ing on the server itself and this is fine so suspect, as you said, it must be something to do with the firewall - thing is it is allowing all protocols anyway. will give it another whirl tomorrow at work
