I am having someone run a DTS package for me on the same server that has run in the past with the CDONTS variable in vbscript. &nbsp;The reason I don't run it is because I don't have access to it. &nbsp;So, I have to tell him what to do to get arround this error. &nbsp;<br />

The server is Windows 2000, so cdonts.dll should be installed. &nbsp;<br />
1. &nbsp;How do I check to see if it is running (without creating an .asp page)?<br />
2. &nbsp;Is there something else that should be running, if so how do I check that?<br />

If you know of a step by step link, I could forward it to him for him to check.<br />
