How to create Connection pool for a database from Tomcat 4.1.X ?

We are using Tomcat 4.1.x and I was wondering if anyone could help me on how to set up a database connection pool with it. I know how to do it with weblogic, but is there similar way in tomcat.
I went to tomcat-manager but there is link available for that.

Try using Jakarta DBCP at http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/dbcp/ Follow the instructions there to setup a JNDI connection pooled database resource. Default DBCP library comes with Tomcat 4.1.x and the version is 1.1 and you might need to update it to 1.2.1 from the DBCP site.
