Cannot open one or more attachments when trying to forward email

using windows xp, office 2000, exchange 5.5 on nt4, this is the only user having a problem. when trying to forward and email with an attachment it errors and says outlook cannot open one or more attachments. it doesn't do it with all attachments. another thing to not on the mail server he has 150MB space he is using 128MB, he also has a pst file on local machine that is 1/2 Gig. it doesn't make a difference on where he tries to forward the email from either an email on the server or an email in the pst file it does it randomly. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it matter what type of attachment he is forwarding ?

Does the same happen even if he replies to an email with attachment ?

Compacting PST might help

Or try recreating a new profile for that user and check if that would help solve the issue

Have you tried to create a new profile to check if that would help ?

You may want to take a backup of all outlook data before recreating the profile.

Have you tried suggestions given in my first comment
