Is STOP SIGN From E-acceleration a malware/spyware suite?
Hi,
Seems to me that I've run malware removal tools  such as spybot and adaware  and I could swear that STOP SIGN, which claims to be a virus removal tool, was listed as malware that causes pop-ups, machine malfunctions and other things.  I wasd just shocked to see a commercial ON TV for e-acceleration STOP SIGN:;  which i have actually removed from people's computers because it causes problems and will not uninstall (by the average user). It has to be dug out of the registry and there's like 3 pages of entries to be removed....  False advertisement on the internet is one thing(that not much can be done about unfortunately) but if they're trying to get you to load spyware from the tv...   what do you think??

Actually, I don't have stop sign on any of my machines to run ht- perhaps I will set up an old drive and do just that. However, my question may just be a matter of wanting an opinion rather than actually needing help. Perhaps I  would have better luck with feedback if posted in a more appropriate forum type- or perhaps I could increase the points offered and split points??

Security is the protection of information systems from theft or damage to the hardware, the software, and the information on them, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. The main goal of security is protecting assets, and an asset is anything of value and worthy of protection. Information Security is a discipline of protecting information assets from threats through safeguards to achieve the objectives of confidentiality, integrity, and availability or CIA for short. On the other hand, disclosure, alteration, and disruption (DAD) compromise the security objectives.
