When I ask about easiest way I meant the way that is similar to the technique when I can convert a dataset to an HTML stream which can be used to display the dataset in MS Excel. I like this method because it simple and do not require a lot of code. But this method works in the ASP.NET environment, and my current project is VB.NET.

Thanks

I think the methods described in the comments from me and desp are the easiest way to do it in VB.NET, I haven't found any other way to do it.
