I have a pentium 4 3.0 ghz , ati radeon 9800 pro video card 1 gig ram , and 2 monitors
I currently use the 2nd monitor as extended desktop.
I play a game call continuum and saw an article that say if I had a second computer and hooked it up to a
KVM switch, I could play both computers online with 1 keyboard and mouse.
(I don't have 2 computers though.)
The game will not open twice at the same time on 1 computer.
Is there a way to make my computer think that it is 2(virtual computer, or other way)
and is there such a beast as a software kvm switch that will let me rund a program on each monitor with 1 keyboard and 1 mouse? I want to start 1 game of continuum on 1 monitor and start a 2nd game of continuum on the other monitor, Play both games online with 1 keyboard and mouse. Any clues out there?

Good Sugestion Callandor. I Have A question and or a sugestion for a fix. This is for Calandor Is there someway you can set up a different partition and dual boot windows.
Unfortunately, a dual boot only allows one system to be booted at a time, which won't provide the solution here.
And if I'm not mistaken a KVM switch will only allow the use of one monitor

Have you tried reinstalling the game into a different directory? Dont let it create any shortcuts on the desktop, as it will overwrite the one that is there now.
Fire up the game. Alt-tab out.
Go to 2nd directory where game is installed, run the main executable file.

the way you do this is to look online, ask in forums for the game, etc.
I play a different game and it is possible to do so... but only with a no-cd/ cracked exe of the game.
for games like this, (from what I saw online) you are most likely not going to be able to do so. (play the game twice on 1 computer)
a kvm switch only serves as a way to use the same monitor keyboard and mouse for multiple computers. you probably can use multiple monitors with a KVM but the hard part would be getting more then one version of the game to run because usually games and that have functions that do not allow more then once instance, which you would need a game crack to fix that.

You can set up multiple sessions, and perhaps in one of them direct the output to a different monitor. I don't know if this will work, though.
