RegLoadKey API

I am trying to turn the following command into an api call so the command can be executed on win9X systems not just NT.

REG load HKLM\TempData "F:\Documents and Settings\Test\ntuser.dat"

My attempts so far have been less then successful,  can someone turn that command into a call to the API for me?

I don't think you can load an NT profile under Win95, but a Win95 profile should be fine. NT has security settings for the registry hives, Win95 has not, so the file formats are probably different between them.

from M$:
Client: Requires Windows XP, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows NT Workstation, Windows Me, Windows 98, or Windows 95.
Server: Requires Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows NT Server.
Unicode: Implemented as Unicode and ANSI versions. Note that Unicode support on Windows Me/98/95 requires Microsoft Layer for Unicode.
Header: Declared in Winreg.h; include Windows.h.
Library: Use Advapi32.lib.
