Print Spoller Stuck on 'Starting'

Running Citrix on 2003 server.  Print spooler fails on occation because of the remote printers.  Usually I am able to restart the print spooler with no problem.  I ran into a problem where the print spooler got stuck/frozen at 'starting'.  I had to reboot the server.  Is there a way to kill the process manually and then retry starting the server?  Any ideas what could have caused it to freeze?  Finally, anyone thoughts on Citrix issues casuing print spooler to crash,  I have already installed the Citrix hot fix that was supposed to fix the problem.

Thanks!

you can use either "kill.exe" or "taskkill.exe" which you can download from MS for free.
then open task manager find the spooler service and look for it's "pid" number, then go to the cmd line and type kill.exe "pid number" or the same but with taskkill.exe, this will kill the task you have specified.

Where can I download taskkill.exe, didn't find on microsoft.com.  Is it part of the server resource kit?
