When I first installed Domino/Notes I noticed that when I sent mail my return mail had a % symbol.  I was not until I set the Internet Mail Address in the location document was the problem fixed.  Having moved to notes 6.5.x I have staff using inotes.  When mail is sent via inotes my mail filter rejects it due to percent hacking, address looks the same as when I first started but did not have Internet Mail Address”.  Is there a similar setting for inotes that will prevent this problem?

Create a Global Domain document to set the conversion of a Notes mail address to an internet address (that is something you should have done before too, to solve you % problem)

For iNotes users, like for Notes users, the other thing that helps is setting the internet address field on the person document.  For Notes, the order in which an email address is created is Location Document - Person Document (Domino Directory) - Global Domain document.  For iNotes it's the same, except for the Location document, that is obviously not available on the web.

Why do you give me a B ?  Because you don't like to change stuff on your server or because it didn't work ?  If it did work , you should grade me "A".

My mistake, I was rushing and did not pay attention to where I was clicking, if it can be changed would be more than happy to do so.

No problem, no need to do so, I'm not points-hungry or something, but it's also better information to people who will find this document later on.  If they see "B", they might conclude that the proposed solution is not correct, or incomplete.

cheers,
