Hello,
I have xp pro, I need to set the permissions in my wwwRoot. I am building a website on my pc , it is an ASP site, I have not a clue how to set my permissions. I need to set the permissions on my wwwroot to build my site and when it is build I will upload it to my isp. can some please tell me in a really really simple way as I feel I am really really at my wits end as to how to do this. the site I am building will allow one to upload images to a directory. so i need to set the correct rights to write  files to folders.

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\spudtest

spudtest is where I want to build my site

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\spudtest\db

db is the folder that contains my access database

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\spudtest\Files

files is the folder that will contain the uploaded images.

can some one please tell me in a step by step maner as to how I start setting my permissions.

regards

Kenny
