Mother Board Problems. Gigabyte. GA-8S655FX

Hey all,
Im having problems with a motherboard. It loads up to the first screen, and has displayed running memory @ dual frequencies, and the standared testing memory... done stuff. @ the botton of the screen there is 'press delete to enter setup / Q-flash. press f9 to X-press recovery'.

Thing is this is all that it does. When you try to press delete or anything else, nothing happens.

The key board does work, and the connection also works, (because if u get it just as it turns on and press delete, then it says down the bottom, 'preparing setup', but thats it and it doesnt chagne from that.)

So..... if ne1 can help, would be greatly appreciated. thanx

I think you should try resetting the CMOS, in case there are bad values in there hanging up your machine.

Wow - you mean my comment, which had no response, wasn't the solution?

lol. sorry no. In the end i determined that it was the CPU that was stuffing up the boards operation. However given that i didnt respond (which is my fault. sorry), i am willing to give you half of that 500 points? That ok?

No, it's ok, I don't really need the points :-) - you realized that you should have responded, and you posted what the solution was; that's all that's needed.  It's ok by me to close this up and for you to get a refund.
