Upgrade to notes 6.5.1 on a Macintosh

I have one mac in my school.  I wanted to upgrade the 5.7 notes to 6.5.1.  I ran the sit file and it upgraded the files.  Now when I try to start the program it shows
an error message that the bookmark.ntf needs to be upgraded.  Being not well versed with Macs, I tried to replace this file with one from a pc running notes 6.5.1.
This did not change the error.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is due to the old preferences being in effect...

Delete it and restart notes

Strange, that worked the first time, was able to configure notes.  When I shut down and restarted notes got the following
"Program notes could not open because NotesImageLib could not be found" yet this file is located in the folder.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Not sure...

But I would recommend to backup and remove the bookmarks, desktop and names files and then remove the preferences file and then restart the notes...
