After capture and editing using Ulead Video Studio 7 SE, previewing the movie shows many stops and starts in the movie (stutter).  Burning the move to DVD disk reproduces these stutters.  What could be the cause? I have a Pentium IV with 1 Gb RAM, LG Super Multi Burner and separate Hard Disk of 80 Gb. I have no other programs open, only Windows XP and Video Studio.

I'm afraid the harddisk or the processor are too slow for the capture rate you asked, and it's losing frames. If the capture board has hardware compression, use the program that can use it. If you capture thru usb, it must be usb2, because the transfer rate on usb1 is too low.

Try a capture with a lower bitrate, reducing the resolution.
