back up from data with tape drive in windows server 2003

hello,
     I want back up from data of hard with tape drive in windows sever 2003.I want use from back up of windows:
start-system tools -back up   ,but windows can not identify tape drive.
my back up is sony AIT SDX-D500C and my tape is SDX2-50C.
the driver of sony is installed.windows must identify tape such as drive but not identify,
please help me,

The latest drivers are dated 8 September 2004  - can you check that you are running the latest drivers please?

The other thing to do is to run Sony's Tape Utilities from http://sony.storagesupport.com/ait/tapeutility_windows.htm to see if the utility can see and access the drive

Can you let us know what the tape utilities report please?

i download and install the latest driver and install tape utility
but i still  have problem,
test drive with utilitytape  failed.

my removeable storage in services of windows is stop
with start this service my problem is solved.
