Resizing a webpage designed in Photoshop(sliced) and Dreamweaver

I have a website that was designed in photoshop (images based-problem right there) and then behaviors and links were applied in dreamweaver.  The site size is 800 x 600 and you cannot see the whole page with a 640 x 480 monitor.  Is there a code I can get, to automatically resize the whole webpage to a smaller size, instead of going in and resizing and reslicing and redoing the scripts.  I need a quick solution that will help me avoid spending hours redoing the whole entire site.

I'm not aware of anything, short of building an array in javascript and then resizing "everything" on the page onload - images, tables, divs etc. What I can tell you is that the results would be nothing short of disastrous. To be honest, if it were me - I would rather scroll the window left then to have everything resized by the browser. The images would be very badly rendered, and the layout would have to adjust itself everytime I changed the size of the viewport.

My preference would simply be this:

<style type="text/css">

body { overflow:auto; }

</style>

This will automatically generate a horizontal scrollbar if it's not already present.

I've had them too - we all have. If this site is online, I may be able to offer some suggestions...
