Can anyone show me a simple example using Visual Basic .Net of how to use an arraylist of objects to: add to the arraylist, edit an item in the arraylist, delete an item in the arraylist, sort the arraylist and search the arraylist?

For example, if I had an arraylist containing name and SSN  how would these tasks be performed?

Thanks!

This link has all the question you want to get answers. There is no edit function in Arraylist. Also you need to cast an object before retreiving its values as Arraylist stores all kind of objects as *Object* type. Use the *Ctype* function to convert from Object type to your desired type
