I was helping someone do a mail merge.  The data was created with the data manager on a mac which is saved as a doc.  While it is possible to do the whole merge on that system, is it not possible to import this data for a merge onto a PC?  How would I have that document change to something the pc can use? can this be done on the mac?

You haven't said what program will be used on the PC.  If it is MS Word then you're good to go.  If it is not then you need to determine what you need.  MS Word will save as text only.  I've used Excel to save as comma delimited text also.

If you haven't worked it out yet, what format does your merge utility need?  Mailmerge is not that complex, it should not be difficult to do what you need.
