Our syslog server shows <br />
&quot;SNMP-3-AUTHFAIL: Authentication failure for SNMP req from host 10.0.54.195&quot;<br />

*. syslog server got this message from one of the Router<br />
*. the host which is requesting SNMP authentication to router is windows 98 Machine <br />
*. there is another strange thing that Syslog gets these messages from Same Router but machines which scanning are different<br />
<br />
this router has IOS 12.2(3) FC1<br />

SNMP authentication failure on Router
