PAL Playstation on NTSC

Is anyone aware of a reasonably priced solution to play a European PAL Playstation 2 on a U.S. NTSC television.

My first try was to use a PAL TV on a voltage converter, but the TV's surge on startup blew the fuse.  There is an inexpensive NTSC to PAL converter, but not the other way round.  Any help would be much appreciated.

it's a little more complicated, when converting ntsc to pal you usualy jsut drop some frames and do all the rest to recalculate the sigmal (depends on input mode thou!), but pal to ntsc requires oversampling the same frame (or in some pro hardware interpolating from neightbours, and beeing a little behind ), and it takes some extra memory to do so ! and it is to be a fast mem, so it can handle whole write 50 hz and whole read 60 hz ... eavven better when it's doubled,  to prevent corruption of read ( vsync like prob)
no eazy way :(
just buy a converter... and if you wanna make someone to find you one post local. info ;) importing a cheap one from lets say singapure aint the cheapest way to get one ;)

but you may try to get a pc tv card! most will let you tune both ntsc and pal :) just check, and ask for one... should be able to get pretty eazy...

besides nothing's better than hi res display ;)
