Can't Access Hidden Shares.
We have a Win2k Server w/SP4 and all available patches. For some reason we've begun to lose all of our shares on this machine after reboots. For the most part this can be solved by reshared IPC$ (net share IPC$) however our administrators often access the hidden shares (C$ etc) and no matter what I try these are no longer accessible. Please help.

Thanks, I'd alraedy checked the AutoShareServer, but the AutoShareWks referenced in the first MS Support article I will have to double check, if that dosen't work I'll try the Pole Edit. I'll let you know soon.

Is the Server service running correctly?
Do u have File and Print Sharing installed?
Do u have File and Print Sharing installed?
If you mean the hidden share like C$ or D$.
Then you may have a look in the registry at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\
Check if there is an entry called AutoShareServer
If there is and the value is 0 please double click on this AutoShareServer and set it to 1 to enable the administrative shares again.
Please reboot the server and see if the shares are re-created again.
