Error 500: with Sharepoint Portal Server 2003
We are using SharePoint Portal Server 2003 for our Intranet (announcments, news etc. ). After doing some windows updates suddenly we are getting following error message when ever we try to go to our Intranet Website of SPS 2003:
"500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR"
I tried
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;841216
But still the problem stays.
Following are the 4 updates after which SPS 2003 stopped working:
-------------------------- ----
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 for Windows Server 2003
Windows SharePoint Services Service Pack 1, English (KB841876)
Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB833987)
Microsoft GDI+ Detection Tool (KB873374)
-------------------------- ----
Any suggetion/comments are welcomed

First, go to IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and then uncheck "show friendly http error messages" this way you can see a better error message. Then re-post that error
ASKER
I have unchecked "frindly error message". & Only difference after unchecking is I see
"500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR" inside iexplorer. (& thats the only line inside IE there's nothing else excepct that line)
