I have a 2k server at a client that when the client opens my computer and clicks on properties of one of the hard drives, explorer shuts down and restarts.  he is able to get drive properties by going to admin tools, disk manager and clicking on properties and all info is there. It happens only in explorer andonly on drive properties. Everything else seems to function OK. This is a new client that massacered his network. The 2k server is just a stand alone PC that is joined into a NT4 network. That will be a nother issue.

Try running SFC /SCANNOW and/or reapplying the Service Pack & Windows Updates.
