Hi experts,
How will set NDIS OIDs. I can use deviceiocontrol and query OIDs. But i can not set any OID. How this could be done?
IOCTL_NDIS_QUERY_GLOBAL_STATS works for query. Is there a set constant for this purpose?

Thanks

objects registered by the NDIS WMI provider have a one-to-one correspondence with NDIS object identifiers (OIDs).
therefore you can not set OID's directly.

have a look here:

so what should i do? I think some softwares like netstumbler, cirond winc or windows zero configuration can do this.
So what is the method doing this?
I need to associate and take the RSSI and NOISE. I dont have problem with RSSI or NOISE. But Association to a network needs to be made by setting OIDs.
or is there another method to do this?
thanx.

well. I found the Prism OIDs. They are working. But I have problem with data type.
This is the data type of  802_11_SSID OID.

typedef UCHARNDIS_802_11_SSID;
{
  ULONG  SsidLength;
  UCHAR  Ssid[32];
} NSID_802_11_SSID, *PNDIS_802_11_SSID;

'vb form
Public Type testssid
    length(1) As long
    ssid(32) As Byte
End Type

     setssid.length = 7
     setssid.ssid(0) = &H41
     setssid.ssid(1) = &H69
     setssid.ssid(2) = &H72
     setssid.ssid(3) = &H74
     setssid.ssid(4) = &H69
     setssid.ssid(5) = &H65
     setssid.ssid(6) = &H73
' ssid is Airties
nret = DeviceIoControl(hDevice, IOCTL_NDIS_QUERY_GLOBAL_STATS, OID_802_11_SSID, 4, setssid, 36, lpret, 0&)
when i run this code, card disconnects from network. But it doesnt connect to Airties network either.
Pls help..
