Getting IMEI code in embedded c++ or C#

I need to extract the IMEI code for the O2 XDAII through my application that runs on the PDA. I understand this can be done via the ExTAPI interface but I'm finding it impossible to work with!!!
Does anybody have some code to extract the IMEI code?

You would need a Certificate first.
