How can I automate the export of event logs in symantec antivirus?

Hello,

I need to automate the export of event logs in symantec antivirus.  I can manually export the event log to a .csv file with the UI.  Is there any way to write a script that exports the event log daily?  Also can I append to an existing csv file or do I have to create a new file every day?

Thanks,
Neil

Do you know where the events are stored within Norton? (I use McAfee)

If you can find them, then you should be able to get the data out.

If you can look for the data, I'd start inthe program file folder for your software, then maybe I can help you script it.

Failing that there are a lot of 'key pressers' out there that you could use to automate the export.

I'm a bit disspointed at this being abondand after only 1 post. I guess a soloution has been found and they forgot about EE.

I guess a delete no refund would be best.
