GoldMine Database Errors for Citrix users only
We currently use GoldMine 6.0 with Citrix Metaframe version 1.8. Lately I have Citrix users who are getting a GoldMine database error, cannot access database that locks up GM and requires a restart of their Citrix user. Having looked into what might be causing this, I have found that during these times the drive in which GM runs off of is disconnected....only once they relog into Citrix it is reconnected. My local network/GM users do not experience this issue which leads me to believe it has something to do with Citrix and not GoldMine. Any suggestions?
Kindly,
Josh

Yes, I remember going into our Email AntiVirus client and specifically ignore all dbf files.
You filtered dbf files on the SQL server backend or on the Citrix client workstations?
Yep, Goldmine still uses dbf files even on a SQL backeend.
But that didn't answer your question....
I had installed Goldmine locally on the Citrix box and just pointed the backend to SQL Server. So on our Citrix box we had all of Goldmine's dbf files.

The files that seem to get locked are sysreps.dbf and users.mdf
Has anyone seen a way to keep these from getting locked?

Here are the exact files that are getting locked.
Sysrep.dbf
Users.mdx
Sysrep.mdx
Users.dbf
When these become locked and can cause Goldmine to exit. This causes metaframe to close also.

What if you move your system files off the Citrix box onto another server; pointing at the other server with the gm.ini.
The files are not on the Metaframe Servers. The files are on the Goldmine File share on a different server.
The posted issue does not solve my problem.
