Are you connecting to the correct database, maybe to the master db instead of your db, or tables have been created in master db instead of your db?
check defult database for sql login that you use..

well, unfortunately these are things that i have already tried, thx anyhow.
i seem to have located the problem, and it's all down to winxp.sp2 and/or win2003server.sp1(beta), or so it says on macromedia website
Database connectivity fails with local ASP.NET and ASP servers
http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/dw_xp_sp2.htm
so, ive had to uninstall service packs on both machine, and now it works =/
so, if any anyone knows how to get around this problem, please let me know
thanx
