Recommend an External CD/DVD Burner to use with Ghost

What would be a good External (USB) DVD/CD burner to use with Ghost.  The idea would be to ghost to/ from a  DVD/CD burner.  I would image that some burners are more compatible/useful than others.  I'm more interested in DVD but would like to ghost to/from CD as well.  Also, is Ghost 2004 up to task or should I be using something else?

I think Plextor and Sony and two good brands to consider for optical drives.
Plextor Premium http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/112
Sony DRU700 http://www.dvd-burner.ca/DVD-News-Release/Sony-DRU700-Double-Layer-04-04-04.html
