Internet Explorer Not Available

Ok Gurus -

I bet this has to do with either a piece of spyware or a Trojan I removed, or perhaps being a little too agressive removing things after running HiJack This.

Here's the problem. I use AOL 9.0 with a DSL line. I use Internet Explorer vis my AOL connection, or at least I did until recently.

Now when I bring up IE, I see the address line still pointing to Google, but the body of the page says "The Page Can Not Be Displayed".  It's not Google as it does this to any of the other pages I point to from My Favorites.   Meanwhile I am still connected to the web via AOL, and in fact am sending you all this message.....

How about 250 points?

Thank you SunRay.  Sure wish you'd go back through the open problems and see if you can fix the problem I'm having with my CD burner.  I have 1000 points available for that frustrating problem.
