Hello!

Would anyone know how to remove the keyboard from a Sharp PC GP-10CM Laptop as my Enter key and arrow keys have stopped working.  I have tried and removed all the screws from the back but the keyboard still wont remove.  I have found a replacement but it is no good to me if I can't get the old one out!

Maybe someone could point me in the right direction or know of any tutorials on how to do it.

Many thanks

most keyboards are held on by tabs. look at the area where ur frame ends and ur keyboard begins. if u look at the space in between, there should be tabs at a couple of places. use a flathead screwdriver or any flat object to depress the tabs and the keyboard should pop out.
also, be careful when doing this. when u lift the keyboard, do it slowly because there should be a small cable connecting it to the notebook (look on ur replacement to see what i'm talking about)

Hi,
Also another place to check for the screws in under the machine in the middle there is normally a screw that holds the keyboard in place. Also on other models the top cover has to come off - it is a bit silly but some times the manufactures don't think.
