Hi,
so i have a page that posets information to a cc processor. After the user has finished entering the cc details, and the payment is processed the processor offers to send the user back to my site (which is very important bec. then they will get their reciept), no i have got this to work when it is not dierct return (i.e. the user must click on a link to go back to my site) in this case i was using the hidden form fields passed to me from the processor and that works fine. But the moment i put it on automatic return (the user is automatically directed to a page on my site) it just does not work.
the processor has indicated that i should be using the get method, i know that this an attribute with forms, but i do not know how to use it! please do not do something like <form method ="get"......>, i know this, but i do not know how to get the information and pass it to my queries. so i need an example code, as detailed as possible
thanks

hi
get is the same as post in the form.
There is lot to discuss but let me just talk on point.
Get sends variables in url.variable
Post sends variable thourh form.variable

if you use get then the variables will be there in url.
You can use them same as when you use post method then form.variables ... now you use url.variable...

Summery :
The only differance is that you use url.var instead of form.var examples  will be same as any forms examples of yours.

so, in my code,
at one point i have
Insert .....
where total = #form.total#

this "form.total" is passed to my page from the processor, so I would just have to change this into
Insert ....
where total =#url.total#,

that is all the change i have to make to my code?
