jsp debugger

I'm new, very new...and looking for a jsp/javascript debugger. I've read some jsp servers have this. Can anyone recommend a good server to use (home use for training purposes) that has a debugger?

The server doesn't have a debugger, your IDE has the debugger.  What I would do is install Tomcat (http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/index.html) and the sysdeo Tomcat plugin (http://www.sysdeo.com/eclipse/tomcatPlugin.html).  To debug your web site, follow these steps:
-Setup your project so that the JSP work directory is in your classpath
-Call your JSP from a web browser
-In Eclipse select work folder in your project and 'Refresh' from the popup menu, java files generated for your
JSP should be seen by Eclipse and you can set breakpoint
You won't acually be debugigging the JSP pages, but you will be debugging the generated JAVA files.

As for debugging javascript, you need to do the debuggin on the browser.  The Microsoft script debugger works for IE (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sdbug/Html/sdbug_1.asp).  And Mozilla comes with a debugger for debuging mozilla
